Ovesco Endoscopy AG relies on solar power in new building

After moving to its new company headquarters in the Technology Park Tuebingen at the beginning of May, Ovesco Endoscopy AG officially puts its highly developed photovoltaic system into operation. On 16.5.2019, the plant was handed over to its intended purpose together with the Lord Mayor of Tuebingen, Boris Palmer.

As a medical technology company, Ovesco is committed to the cost-effectiveness and use of renewable energies. Thanks to this solar power plant, Ovesco Endoscopy meets the KfW-55 efficiency standard and thus almost covers its basic electrical house load and requires only 55% as much energy as a conventional new building.

The planning and implementation took place in very good cooperation with the specialist planners from Schnell Ingenieuren (Tuttlingen) and the Tuebingen company Galicium Solar.
