Use of the FTRD® prOVE Cap

The colonic FTRD® prOVE Cap is a cap matching the dimensions of the colonic FTRD®neo cap that is placed onto a flexible endoscope to assess the suitability of the colonic FTRD®neo Set prior to the procedure.

The gastroduodenal FTRD® prOVE Cap is a cap matching the dimensions of the gastroduodenal and diagnostic FTRD®neo cap that is placed onto a flexible endoscope to assess the suitability of the gastroduodenal or diagnostic FTRD® Set prior to the procedure.

Important note:

The colonic FTRD® prOVE Cap is not included in the colonic FTRD®neo Set.

The gastroduodenal FTRD® prOVE Cap is not included in the gastroduodenal or diagnostic FTRD®neo Set.

Application of the FTRD® prOVE Cap

MOUNTING OF THE FTRD® PROVE CAP
  • Place the FTRD® prOVE Cap onto the endoscope and secure it with the enclosed adhesive tapes to seal the cap
  • Advance the endoscope to the target lesion
  • If necessary, use the FTRD® Grasper to check mobilization of the lesion into the cap
