Prof. Dr. med. Marc O. Schurr
Chief Executive Officer
Marc Schurr was founder of Ovesco in 2008 and is the company’s CEO since 2021. Marc successfully led Ovesco’s technology & product development, clinical science and international market launch.
Before starting Ovesco, Marc held various positions in academia, contract research and consulting and became a serial entrepreneur, creating an incubator for medtech products and services in Tuebingen, Germany. He joined Steinbeis University Berlin in 2005, where he had multiple teaching and scientific responsibilities as director of the IHCI Institute until 2021. He has been serving on the board of different institutions and committees in industry, medicine and the investment community as well as in charitable societies.
Marc graduated as a medical doctor from Eberhard-Karls University School of Medicine, Tuebingen, is a certified physician and has a medical science degree from the same institution. He also holds an executive MBA from École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP).
Geoffrey E. Yates
Executive Board Member
Geoffrey E. Yates has served as President of Ovesco Endoscopy USA since its foundation in 2010. He has extensive experience in sales of innovative medical devices, building international distribution channels, marketing and product development. Prior to joining Ovesco, he worked at several companies including Boston Scientific, Smith and Nephew Endoscopy, Abbott Vascular, Bard Electrophysiology and a number of startup companies. Geoffrey Yates is a member of Ovesco's Executive Board and is also responsible for Ovesco Endoscopy's U.S. business. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Aleksandra Michalke
Senior Vice President of People Operations
Aleksandra Michalke joined Ovesco in 2019. She fills the position of Senior Vice President of People Operations. Prior to joining Ovesco, she worked in Human Resources for international companies in the electrical engineering and engineering services sectors. She has extensive expertise in all relevant aspects of Human Resources such as staff development, recruitment, administration, employment law, optimization of HR processes, etc. She is a graduate of Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences with a Master of Arts in International Business & Intercultural Management. She also holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of St. Gallen.
Alicia Pulfermuller
Director of Marketing
Alicia Pulfermuller started her career at Ovesco in 2017 as Product Manager of the RESECT+ product group. Since the beginning of 2023, she has been Director of Marketing and coordinates the associated activities such as campaigns, digital marketing and PR. She completed her studies in biology at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen with a Master's degree in Cell Biology & Immunology. She subsequently completed a Master's Degree in economics in the field of Marketing, Strategy & Leadership at the Technical University of Munich.
Andrea Dunker
Director of Customer Service & Warehouse
Andrea Dunker has been with Ovesco since 2015 and brings expertise she has built up over more than 35 years of professional experience in all facets of customer service: from inbound and outbound service to internal sales support and direct customer contact.
In 2018, she took over as head of the Customer Service Team, and a year later, her area of responsibility expanded to include warehouse logistics – a logical step for someone who keeps both sides of the customer experience in mind. As Director of Customer Service and Logistics, this trained industrial business administrator shapes the interface between Ovesco and its customers: efficiently, reliably, and with a human touch.
Azzedine Bouteraa
Senior Vice President of Finance
Azzedine Bouteraa has been working for Ovesco since April 2014 as Senior Vice President of Finance. He has established global controlling management in the company and is continuously developing it as the company internationalizes. Before working in medical technology, he gained controlling experience in various positions in the automobile industry with global companies. Azzedine Bouteraa is a graduate of Grenoble Ecole de Management in France and holds a Master of Finance.
Antonio Caputo
Vice President of Product Enhancement
Antonio Caputo is Vice President of Product Enhancement and has been with Ovesco since 2012. His field of work is the further product development of Ovesco products. He has extensive expertise in the application of instruments for flexible endoscopy and their market launch. Antonio Caputo studied at the University of Pisa, where he graduated with a Master of Biomedical Engineering.
Bettina Stritzke
Vice President of Product Management
Bettina Stritzke has been working for Ovesco since 2015 and has successfully managed the
FTRD® product family as product manager for many years. Since 2023 she is Vice President of Product Management and in this role supports the market success of the overall product portfolio. Furthermore, she makes a significant contribution to the continuous development of the Ovesco training program. Bettina Stritzke graduated from the University of Tübingen with a Bachelor of International Business Administration and a Master of Science in General Management.
Chi-Nghia Ho
Senior Vice President of Division Therapeutic Devices
Chi-Nghia Ho has been Senior Vice President for Research and Development since 2011.
Prior to joining Ovesco, he worked as a research assistant at the IHCI Institute of Steinbeis University Berlin and as an engineer at novineon in Tübingen. During his first years at Ovesco, he helped to build up the company. During this time he was also responsible for R&D, production and quality management. His work led, among other things, to the successful launch of the first Ovesco product line based on the OTSC technology. Chi-Nghia Ho is a trained engineer for medical technology and graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich in 2003.
Gabor Conrad
Director of Product Design
Gabor Conrad is Director of Product Design in R&D and has been working for Ovesco since 2013. After taking on various tasks in product management and R&D, he focused on the development of innovative medical instruments and technologies for endoscopy. In addition to development, his focus areas also include the approval of instruments in Europe and internationally. Gabor Conrad graduated in Medical Technology from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
Gunnar Anhöck
Senior Vice President of Manufacturing & Operations
Gunnar Anhöck is responsible for Production and Operations. Before joining Ovesco in 2007, he worked at the Fraunhofer Technology Development Group in Stuttgart, where he was involved in innovative projects in the field of mechatronics. He has extensive experience in product development and continuous optimization in the product life cycle. He is responsible for manufacturing processes and infrastructure, supply chain management and value stream optimization with quality management. He graduated in Biomedical Engineering from the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences in Jena.
Jan Keller
Director of Embedded Systems Engineering
Jan Keller is team leader of the Embedded Systems Department and has been working for Ovesco since 2013. His tasks include managing the project portfolios of various development and research projects and completing them in a targeted manner. He has extensive expertise in areas of the development and approval of medical software. He studied at the technical faculty of the University of Freiburg. His major field of study was microsystems engineering, which he completed with a Master of Science in Microsystems Engineering.
Katrin Steinbrecher
Director of Quality Management & Regulatory Affairs
Katrin Steinbrecher has been with Ovesco since 2023 and is responsible for the Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs department. With her extensive experience in various international pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, she brings in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field of quality. Katrin Steinbrecher is a trained engineer in pharmaceutical chemistry and graduated from NTA Isny in 1989.

Monika Menke
Director Key Accounts
Monika Menke started working for the Ovesco sales team in September 2011. In the southern sales region, she significantly advanced market penetration and took on the role of Director of Sales. Presently, she continues to expand customer relationships as Director of Key Accounts.
She has more than 30 years of experience in the medical sector with training and years of work as a practice manager, pharmaceutical representative at Boehringer Ingelheim and various independent pharmacy sales and practice concepts.
Philipp Siebrecht
Vice President of Sales
Philipp Siebrecht joined Ovesco in 2022 as Vice President of Sales Europe to further develop Ovesco's local and international sales activities and expand collaboration with sales and distribution partners. He brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing and sales from various branches to the group. Prior to joining Ovesco, he held numerous marketing and sales leadership positions in the areas of life sciences, medical devices, OTC supplements and marketing and sales consulting. He studied business administration with a focus on marketing, sales and controlling in Ludwigshafen, Mannheim and Alicante/Spain. He is also a certified business and management coach from the Coach Trainer Academy St. Gallen/Switzerland.
Dr. sc. hum. Sebastian Schostek
Senior Vice President of Division Diagnostic Systems
Sebastian Schostek has been working for Ovesco Endoscopy AG since 2011. He is responsible for the expansion of the technology portfolio and the implementation into Ovesco's product range. Before joining Ovesco, he worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the IHCI of Steinbeis University Berlin. He moved to novineon, Tübingen, where he was Business Unit Director in the area of technological development. He is also active in teaching as a lecturer at Furtwangen University. Schostek holds a degree in physics from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich and a doctorate from the Medical Faculty of the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen.

James Potts
Senior Vice President of Sales
Ovesco Endoscopy USA Inc.
James Potts began working at Ovesco Endoscopy USA in 2012 as an independent sales representative before assuming the role of director of sales for the North American East Coast in 2015. He has served as Vice President of Sales since 2021, contributing to the company's revenue growth and helping to introduce a variety of innovative Ovesco products to the North American market. Potts has nearly 30 years of experience in medical device sales. He began his career at Stryker Endoscopy, followed by a 15-year tenure at Olympus America.
Prof. Dr. Klaus Mönkemüller
Member of the Board of Directors,
Ovesco Endoscopy USA Inc.
Prof. Dr. Klaus Mönkemüller is a gastroenterologist based in Roanoke, VA. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Alabama Medical Center and held various roles in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee. He served as Medical Director of Endoscopy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2012 to 2016. Currently he serves as Professor of Medicine at Department of Gastroenterology, Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, USA.
Prof. Dr. Klaus Mönkemüller is a pioneer in gastrointestinal endoscopy, with development and implementation of numerous endoscopic techniques and has hundreds of publications in the field of gastroenterology, including work on endoscopic procedures and gastrointestinal disorders. His academic contributions have earned him multiple awards, such as the ASGE Research Award, UAB Visiting Scholar, and the Department of Medicine Best Teacher and Notable Mentor Awards.
Aditi S. Johnson
Vice President of Marketing
Ovesco Endoscopy USA Inc.
Aditi S. Johnson joined Ovesco Endoscopy USA in 2026 as Vice President of Marketing. She brings more than 15 years of experience in medical devices and healthcare, spanning endoscopy, wearables, blood pressure technologies, and advanced healthcare materials. Known for translating complex technical innovations into compelling market positioning, her expertise includes product marketing, portfolio strategy, customer segmentation, and go-to-market commercialization.
Johnson holds a B.S. and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from North Carolina State University and the University of Connecticut, respectively, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Alexandre Lambert
General Manager and Sales & Marketing Director Ovesco Endoscopy France SAS
Alexandre Lambert joined Ovesco Endoscopy France in 2019 as General Manager and Sales & Marketing Director. Alexandre Lambert has extensive knowledge in the medical device industry in the fields of cardiology, surgery, urology and endoscopy. Prior to joining Ovesco Endoscopy, Lambert held various sales and marketing positions with medical device companies including Baxter, CR Bard, WL Gore and Boston Scientific. He holds a degree from ESSEC Business School of Paris and an executive degree from HEC Paris in Business Development and Marketing.
Devan Kizhakee
Commercial Director MEA and Australasia
Devan Kizhakee joined Ovesco Endoscopy in 2017 as Commercial Director for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Ovesco, he worked for Novadaq, CONMED, B.Braun Aesculap and Johnson & Johnson Ethicon. Devan Kizhakee has 23 years of experience in the medical device industry - both in surgery and endoscopy. He held various leadership positions in international sales management and dealer management. He holds a degree in Science from Christ College, Thrissur, India and a Diploma in Business Administration from SCMS Cochin School of Business.
