Use of the FTRD® Grasper

The FTRD® Grasper is an instrument for grasping and holding tissue and foreign bodies in the gastrointestinal tract, used via a flexible endoscope, e.g. in the context of procedures with the FTRD®neo.

The FTRD® Grasper

The FTRD® Grasper is required for endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFTR) with the FTRD®neo. It is a grasping forceps specifically developed for the FTRD®neo, enabling optimal tissue grip and easy retraction into the FTRD®neo cap.

FTRD®neo Set

The FTRD® Grasper is included in every FTRD®neo Set; however, it can be ordered separately as well (5 items per package).

Application of the FTRD® Grasper

TISSUE MOBILIZATION USING THE FTRD® GRASPER
Advance the endoscope to resection site
Grasp the lesion with the FTRD® Grasper
Mobilize the lesion into the application cap
Ensure the lesion is fully inside the cap – fix the grasper – deploy the clip
Resect the tissue and retrieve the specimen
