1 The ESGE Guideline Update 2026 suggests the use of OTSC® as monotherapy as an alternative to combination therapy for the first-line endoscopic treatment of peptic ulcer bleeding with Forrest Ia/Ib stigmata,due to a lower risk of further bleeding compared with standard endoscopic hemostasis therapy. This is a conditional recommendation based upon very low quality evidence.
