CAES honors Dr. Reimer with the Ovesco Award at this year’s DGE-BV in Cologne

The Surgical Working Group for Endoscopy and Sonography of the German Society for General and Visceral Surgery (CAES) awarded the Ovesco Prize to Dr. Stanislaus Reimer on March 3, 2023, for his 10-year investigation of endoscopic vacuum therapy (EVT) as a primary versus secondary treatment option for gastric leakage after bariatric surgery.
