Ovesco Endoscopy successful at the “Großer Preis des Mittelstandes” (Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses).

It has been awarded by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation since the 1990s and aims to promote awareness of the economic and social achievements of medium-sized companies within society.

Every year, several thousand companies nationwide take part, with over 1,000 from Baden-Württemberg alone in 2022. They must be nominated for the award by third parties.

The juries evaluate the economic development of the company, the creation of jobs and apprenticeships, innovativeness, regional commitment, and customer proximity of the candidates. The Grand Prix for SMEs thus takes a holistic perspective. It covers all sectors and in 2022 the annual motto was “Towards new horizons”.

Ovesco was nominated by Prof. Dr. med. Arthur Schmidt from the University Hospital Freiburg and this year was one of 6 companies from Baden-Württemberg to be awarded as a finalist for the federal state.
