Ovesco Endoscopy AG invests in Radius Dynamics and supports robotic endoscopy

Tübingen, January 19, 2025. Ovesco Endoscopy AG, based in Tübingen, is investing in Radius Dynamics GmbH, also based in Tübingen, as an anchor investor in order to jointly advance innovative solutions in the field of robotic flexible endoscopy.

The field of robotic flexible endoscopy is still in its early stages, but has considerable potential for solving challenges in complex endoscopic procedures. Radius Dynamics is developing a robotic platform that utilizes existing endoscopic equipment and enables a seamless transition between conventional and robotic endoscopy. This system, which is currently in preclinical development, is based on an “over-the-scope” applicator with two controllable elements on the sides. It can be used with standard endoscopes and is operated from a workstation.

Ovesco has invested in Radius Dynamics as part of a successfully completed financing round with existing shareholders and new angel investors as anchor investors and now holds a minority stake. For Ovesco, the value of this partnership lies primarily in gaining access to new product approaches and innovative impulses in the growth market of robotic endoscopy.
