Ovesco continues to grow: Groundbreaking for second construction phase in Tübingen

Tübingen, December 11, 2025 – With a ceremonial groundbreaking, Ovesco Endoscopy AG kicked off construction of the second phase of its corporate headquarters in Tübingen last week. The innovative medical technology company, which specializes in the development and production of state-of-the-art solutions for endoscopy, is thus sending a clear signal for growth and sustainability at its location.

During the event on December 2, 2025, Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Marc O. Schurr welcomed the numerous guests and speakers Boris Palmer, Mayor of the City of Tübingen, Manuel Hagel, CDU parliamentary group leader in the Baden-Württemberg state parliament, and Prof. Dr. med. Karel Caca, Medical Director of the Clinic for Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Hematology-Oncology, Diabetology, and Infectious Diseases at RKH Klinikum Ludwigsburg. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of the expansion for the region and Ovesco’s innovative strength.
With the new construction phase, Ovesco is creating additional capacity for research, development, and production. The new building will have over 50 office workstations as well as laboratories, production facilities, and a large logistics area.
Ovesco Endoscopy AG has grown steadily since the company was founded in 2008. The first building in Tübingen was completed in 2019. The company now has over 150 employees, additional locations in the US, France, and India, and distributes its products worldwide.

Donation to foundation: Help for sick children at Tübingen University Hospital

During the event, Ovesco Endoscopy AG also presented a donation of €3,500 to the “Help for Sick Children” foundation at Tübingen University Hospital, which will be used to purchase a training model for pediatric gastroenterology. The company has been committed to the foundation for many years, which does valuable work to support seriously ill children and their families in the region.
