UK single center study on FTRD® showcases high resection rates

Largest dataset of 54 cases from a single UK center to date shows high full resection rate with both FTRD^® and Hybrid-FTRD^®

Key findings

• Of the 54 patients, 30 could be resected with standard FTRD^®. Full resection was achieved in 93.3%.
• 22 cases were resected using Hybrid-FTRD^® with full resection in 78% of cases and R0 resection in 60%.
• 11.1% of cases required surgery for complications or incomplete resection.

Study details

• FTRD^® cases from the University Hospital Dorset from March 2020 to January 2023 were analyzed
• 41% of procedures were located in the right colon
• Adenocarcinoma was identified in 12 cases
